POEM : " Friendship "

 Friendship

Give me your friendship,

I'll give you mine.

I'll treasure it forever;

and always make it chime!


Give me your time,

I'll give you mine.

Along with memories;

sweet and benign!


Give me your trust,

I'll give you mine.

I wont let it rust;

a sacred shrine!


Give me your love,

I'll give you mine.

Along with sincerity;

and allegiance divine!


Give me your soul,

For which I pine.

So that we are One;

and our destinies intertwine!


On to a trust,

so pure and natural!

Growing up on our similarities stark,

I'll never let the vices spawn..


On to a friendship,

a safe haven!

When the nights are dark,

I'll be there till dawn..


On to a journey,

a new adventure!

Follow the spark,

I'll lead you on..

  ಫಲ ಸಂತರ್ಪಣೆ!      ಸುಬ್ಬುವಿನ ಮನೆಯ ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತು ನಾವು ಮೂವರು, ಅಷ್ಟದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಯಾವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು 'ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಆಫ್ ಆಕ್ಷನ್' ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದೆವು. ಅದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೊದಲು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ 'ದುರ್ಗಮ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪನ್ನೇರಳೆ' ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮರದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ, 'ತೋಟದ ಒಳಗಿದ್ದ ಅಂಬರಲೇ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮರ', ನಂತರ 'ಬ್ಯಾಣದ ಬಾಳೆ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಗಿಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ನೇರಳೆ ಮರ' ಹಾಗು ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ 'ಅಣ್ಣೀಭಟ್ರು ಮನೆ ಗದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೇರಳೆ ಮರ' ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಸಾರದ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ 'ಚಂದ್ರ ಪೇರಳೆ' ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಭೇಟೆ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿತ್ತು.      ನಾನು ಸುಬ್ಬು ಸೇರಿ  ಹೆಗಲಿಗೆ ದೊಟಿಯನ್ನು ಏರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆವು, ತಂಗಿ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಲು ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ಅಡಿಕೆ ಹಾಳೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ಮೂವರು ಪನ್ನೇರಳೆ ಮರದ ಕಡೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಿದೆವು. ಸುಬ್ಬು ಮನೆ ತೋಟದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಮುರುಕಲು ಸಾರ ದಾಟಿ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿಯ ತುತ್ತ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮರವೇ ಪನ್ನೇರಳೆ ಹಣ್ಣಿನದು.  ಸಾರವನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಾಗಲೇ ಅರ್ಧ ಜೀವ ಹೋಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಬಗ್ಗಿದರೆ ಮಗಚಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಹಳ್ಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುವುದು ಖಂಡಿತ. ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮರ, ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಬೆಳಕು ಅಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬೀಳದ ಜಾಗ, ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ತೋರುತ್ತಿರುವ

  VAULT!                       It was a dark gloomy day. The sky was dark grey, the sun was covered by the rain carrying clouds. In the middle of nowhere, was a tiny, worn out hut. Who knew how long it could stand? Shingles had fallen of the roof, the plaster was exposed on the walls and the dusty, brown wooden door was almost off its hinges.        Inside this house was a ten-year old boy named Parker. He was packing up all his stuff with his mom. They were shifting tonight. To the city. To their old house. The house in which Parker’s father had died. Parker was a young a boy when this incident had taken place. He was playing on the floor with his cloth puppets when he had heard a gun fire.
